Five Summer Don'ts

1. Don't wear flip flops to the office.  The manager may think you are not taking your job serious and are not focus. Let's face it flip flops, say I am ready for vacation beach here I come...Now if you are the manager you must lead by example and how can you have your employees take you serious if you look like you are on vacation.  A big no no..
2. Leave the straps at home. The strapless dresses, tank, and shoes.  That's right avoid showing too much skin in the work place. If you have a dress that you really like cover your arms with a Cami or sweater.  Now on to shoes..
3. Shoes- Sandals that show too much skin can be inappropriate in the workplace. Yes ladies we all love a nice pair of shoes but if your foot is out 80% it should not be worn in the office.
4. Short skirts- Ladies watch those hem lines. Too short of a skirt can make you look much like a street walker and not a professional. If you want that promotion get it with merit and not by drawing attention to those thighs, leave that to Beyonce:)
5. Shades- Yes I am not talking about the shades you put up to your windows. I am talking about sunglasses on your face. The minute you step into your office you represent your company. They want to see you if you have sunglasses on your face your boss may think you have something to hide, and that is the last thing you want him/her to think. Perception is everything leave the shades in your car or in your purse!!
